What is Onsite Spray Painting

For more and more businesses and commercial sites, appearance is everything, anyone that say’s that they can wait for refurbishment or repairs will most certainly fail. Why’s that? Customers will not want to work with businesses that accept second class work. So what is onsite spray painting?

This article will cover exactly what onsite spray painting consists of and what you can expect for your project.

What does onsite paint spraying consist of?

A lot of people ask what is onsite spray painting? These services are one of the most popular ways to ensure building refurbishments are completed to a high and consistent standard.

Most businesses and contractors that provide onsite spraying services will include a specialist colour matching service. This ensures that the completed project looks as though nothing has ever been completed.

The last thing you would want as a business owner is to have half of your premises in a royal blue and the other half in a slightly lighter royal blue. You want it to be uniform across the entire site! You would be mad to accept any else!

Onsite paint spraying involves and number of processes. You can see these processes below.

    • Onsite Inspection – Your chosen onsite spray painting expert will complete a thorough onsite inspection. This enables both the contractor and the client to get a good idea of what they can expect to encounter through-out the paint spraying process. During this inspection the contractor may take a sample. This is to make sure that they can colour match the area that they will be working on. Colour matching is incredibly important and ensures that the final result is exactly what your client is after.

    • Colour Matching – If the spray painting process is part of a refurbishment or repair, a colour match will most certainly be completed as part of the process. As was mentioned above, the colour match is hugely important. It ensures that the  building that is being spray painted is exactly the same across the whole site. A sample of the desired colour or surface will be sent to a specialised lab and the exact colour match will be identified before the onsite spray painting can begin.

    • Onsite Paint Spray – Once the onsite inspection has been completed and the colour match has been identified, the paint spraying process will begin. The team of technicians will close off the work area and ensure that all PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) is in place.

    • Job Completion – We come to the conclusion of our paint spraying project. Both the site manager and head paint sprayer will meet and assess the final work. A series of checks will be made to ensure that the refurbishment has been completed to a high standard, meeting the customers requirements. If they are happy, it is a great opportunity to ask for recommendations and testimonials.
