Kettering Cladding Respray After

Kettering Industrial Unit Dilapidation Works

What The Customer Wanted…

We were contacted by a Kettering based customer wanting a range of works bringing his industrial unit back to ‘new’, as you would do with a renovation or end of lease dilapidation. The 3 week project consisted of respraying the entire exterior cladding of the building, including window and door frames, and also to replace skylights and downpipes.

Project Preparation…

Every project we undertake receives an on-site inspection. For larger projects such as this one, a very detailed on-site inspection is critical to the success of the project. This inspection not only takes relevant measurements to calculate the extent of works, and materials usage, we also look at the condition of the existing cladding, to ascertain the level of cladding repair, which was extensive across the building.

Once on-site, the area is made safe protecting our staff, as well as site workers. The building is cleaned of accumulations of grease and grime, and loose flaky paint, using high pressure 3000psi jets, giving a clean surface to start our work.

Damaged areas of cladding are repaired and primed, or replaced as necessary. The site is then resprayed with 2 coats of paint giving a smooth, durable finish. Skylights and downpipes are replaced and the site is handed over to a very happy customer. The works are guaranteed for 10 years.
