Training and Development
CJ Paint Spraying employs over 40 members of staff, both office and field based. We are committed to providing regular and on-going training for each and every one of them. This allows us to stay up to date with current practises and health and safety requirements. We have a number of technicians who have completed a range of qualifications. These range from Abrasive Wheel to Working at Height and more. Below is a list of the qualifications that our team of applicators currently hold:

COMPLETED TRAINING COURSES
To meet requirements and allow us to compete with UK competitors, we have successfully enrolled and completed a number of training courses. As a business providing commercial maintenance services, these qualifications have become increasingly important. They represent a level of professionalism, capability and help us support our staff member with continuous self development.
CSCS
The Construction Skills Certification Scheme or CSCS was created to assist the construction industry improve the quality of tradesmen and reduce the volume of incidents on site. CSCS Cards are issued to competent tradesmen after a brief examination has been successfully completed. CSCS Cards are in increasingly high demand as professional and competent tradesmen are highly sought after. All of our technicians have CSCS Cards and copies are available on request.
I.P.A.F
The International Powered Access Federation or IPAF promotes the safe and effective use of powered access equipment worldwide. It represents the best interests of manufacturers, distributors, users, rental and training companies. The IPAF programme for platform operators is certified by TUV’s as conforming to ISO18878. All of our technicians have been awarded a PAL Card.
P.A.S.M.A
The PASMA code of practice is the official access tower reference document for managers, supervisors, health and safety professionals, and users. The practice incorporates the requirements of the Work at Heights Regulations 2005.
I.A.T.P – ASBESTOS AWARENESS
IATP is otherwise known as the Independent Asbestos Training Provider. IATP provide training, in line with the Control of Asbestos Regulations 2012. All of our technicians have received IATP approved training, covering topics included in Regulation 10 for Asbestos Awareness. All of our technicians have successfully completed an Asbestos Awareness Training Course and are fully aware of the preventive measure to take should it be discovered on a project.
